The Restaurant

The Restaurant is a perfect solution for a full night out; food and wines from the top shelves, served in representative surroundings with an intimate and relaxed atmosphere. Sven Erik Renaa and his team prepare classical yet innovative dishes from first class, locally sourced ingredients. Renaa finds his inspiration from his 20 years of experience with the national Culinary Team, his many travels, and draws on traditions and aromas from all over the world, particularly Asia, Africa, the Caribbean and of course France and the rest of Europe. 
The Restaurant is downstairs, below the Matbaren. Dining with company? Please see the Selskap section, where you’ll also find a description of the facilities.

Food
The dishes and menus are based according to season and the availability of ingredients of uncompromizing quality. The kitchen is prized for its ability to create innovative dishes built both on tradition and evolution. We recommend Sven Erik Renaa’s signature dishes, most which were developed for culinary championships.

Drink
You may choose from an extensive wine list mainly sourced from wine producers in France, Italy, Germany and Spain. Our sommeliers will be pleased to help you combine wines according to your menu and personal taste. Or choose our wine menu, where every glass is carefully chosen to compliment the dish it accompanies.
